Carrying Intention:

Pocket Altars with Natalie Wilkin

1:00 - 4:00pm Saturday 10 January 2026

Start the New Year by setting your intentions through the creative and mindful activity of making a Pocket Altar with artist Natalie Wilkin. A Pocket Altar is a small, portable shrine that you can carry with you, holding personal or meaningful items for reflection, grounding, or ritual.

Bring along a few small treasures or keepsakes to include in your design, and use fabric, beads, thread, and other materials to create a unique piece that’s all your own. Natalie will also bring a selection of fabric offcuts from the garments featured in Moon Pool for participants to use, and guide you through the process of making your altar. During the workshop, she will take you on a walk through the exhibition, explaining the making of each garment and the ideas behind them.

This free workshop includes materials and light refreshments.
Spaces are limited to 12 people so please book early (limit to 2 people per booking please)
