Ben Brown’s illustrations have a rock star / pirate meets Andy Warhol flair, and he specialises in poking fun at celebrities – literally peeling back the layers of pretence down to bare bones.

An illustrator for over 20 years, Ben has worked for Sony Music, Universal Music, EMI, Triple J and Red Bull. He is a regular contributor of illustrative work and editorial for surf, snow and skate brands.

And he’s just a bit of a legend in the illustration world, really.

"From creating posters for high profile musicians such as Nirvana, Silverchair and Fat Boy Slim, to drawing Stab Magazine’s regular cartoon, Ben Brown has a genuine and varied love for the illustrated form. The Sydney-based illustrator has been on the art scene for over 20 years, drawing from his enthusiasm for surfing, skate culture and music to get involved in projects he’s passionate about."
