Join us in the Gallery from 2pm on Saturday 18 March as local artist Michael Donnelly talks about his current exhibition 'Surface Paradise' with Dr Marian Tubbs, Senior Lecturer, Art & Design at Southern Cross University.
After the talk there will be a musical performance with the artist employing simple mechanical systems (some of which also function as sculptural components within the body of work) to generate sounds by assembling layers and rhythms that resemble music. For this performance the artist will be joined by friends with similar intentions to aid in the activation of the devices.
